3. Practice with Actual Data (Whenever You Can)
You don't have to have a full-time job to begin gaining experience. Do reports for your friend's small business. Volunteer at a nonprofit. Join Skillify's projects if you're a bootcamp candidate. Any experience handling real-world data is worth gold.
